Tough as the Prairie Sod: Women on the Great Plains

The Barton County Historical Society will host a presentation by our Research and Collections Specialist, Linda McCaffery, about the women who ventured out onto the Great Plains. She will talk about the

various hardships that were endured during the early days of American settlement in the area by sharing those recorded experiences from the past.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and the program at starts at 7pm with light refreshments to follow. 

Admission for the program is $5 or free for historical society members.
